Software is being built differently. Image infrastructure should be too.

A person can now describe an idea and have a working application in minutes.

AI can generate the interface, write the code, connect the database, and deploy the product. But the moment that product needs images, the builder inherits an entire pipeline.

Images need to be uploaded, stored, transformed, cropped, compressed, resized, cached, and delivered. They need to work across different screens, network conditions, frameworks, and devices.

When something goes wrong, builders return to the prompt.

Another instruction. Another retry. More credits spent fixing an image instead of improving the product.

We believe that is unnecessary.

Images should be infrastructure that developers, AI builders, and agents can use without having to build or maintain an image pipeline.

These audiences do not always need the same image. A person may need a beautiful, high-resolution product photograph. A mobile device may need a smaller version. A marketplace may require a specific background and aspect ratio. An AI agent may need an image that clearly communicates what the object is.

Existing image infrastructure was built for a world where developers manually assembled these workflows.

The next generation will be different.

Developers will use APIs. AI builders will use instructions. Agents will discover capabilities and perform operations themselves. All three should be able to work with the same infrastructure.

Our goal is not to help people produce more image variants.

It is to remove the need to think about those variants in the first place.
